„Sweety, you’re doing it again“ Rouge softly laughed, interrupting the silence that had taken place between the two women during their time alone.
Amy tilted her head to the side, not quite knowing what the bat was referring to. “Doing what?” she asked, now turning her body to face her partner as she waited for an answer to her question.
“Staring at me” Rouge answered without further ado, again chuckling quietly when a light rosy red blush appeared to grace the pink hedgehog’s cheeks.
“Oh..” Amy started to look a little but abashed now that she was aware this little habit managed to sneak in. Not for long though as she lifted her head to lock eyes with her taller partner. “I’m sorry. It’s just…” she began, slowly taking one of Rouge’s hands into her own. Pink eyelids closed about half as Rouge was gifted an almost dreamy gaze. “Even after all these years… I still can´t believe what a beautiful wife I have…”
Now it was the bat’s turn to blush but soon enough a gentle smile accompanied it. “Oh shucks, Amy” This hedgehog will one day be the end of her.

Okay, FIRST OF ALL, before anyone gets on my ass. Amy is at least in her 20's in this picture, okay? There was an attempt to make her look older, but I'm not good at displaying age.
Secondly, while Rouge may appear quite flirty I imagin her being actually pretty modest in this regard in a relationship. Amy on the other hand goes full on "I adore you in any way, shape or form possible" and openly shows it too. We see that with Sonic, so she'll mostly likely be that way with anyone who holds her heart. Though she does mature and gets calmer with that over the years. She's still very passionate and will never loose that aspect of her. It took a while for Rouge to get used to that.
This is also quite an interesting ship for me. Back when I still considered myself a fan of Son/adow I just threw them together out of spite. I'm still not really fond of Rouge and more or less indifferent towards Amy but I learned to really love and appreciate this couple over the years. It's my favourite girl/girl couple :heart:
