Venus enters Velvet's bedroom since they're planning to go and see the boys to return a textbook that Velvet borrowed from Gadget before going on their ice cream date.

Venus: Vel! Oh… my gosh. That beret is ugly on you. I love you and all but you should get rid of that.
Velvet: I need something to cover the scar on my head.
Venus: O-oh.. Oh.. Kitty sweetie.. I'm sorry! That was inconsiderate of me. But, you don't have to cover it. You look fine.
Velvet: I feel uncomfortable when people staring at it, Vee.
Venus: Alright, I understand. I think I have something to solve it.

Venus runs to her room and comes back with a pink flower crown.

Venus: This should do the trick! It matches your pretty eyes and shirt.
Velvet: Thank you.
Venus: Honestly… I hate your mother. If I hadn't been there, she would have done worst. I'm so glad she's out of your life.
Velvet: I'm so glad you're here with me.
Venus: Hehe… C'mon, let's get going! Gadget texted you, he'll be waiting with that jackal at the cafe, yeah?

Hours later, the girls arrives at the cafe and Velvet returns the textbook to Gadget.

Gadget: Thanks, Velvet.
Velvet: No, thank you.
Venus: Oh, right! Gadget! Don't forget to come to my birthday party! Bring your jackal boyfriend along! It's going to be fun. Especially those risky truth and dare games!
Gadget: R-r-right! O-okay!

Gadget turns to Zero.

Gadget: Are you free to go to Venus's party with me?
Zero: Sigh. Why not?
Venus: Great! Anyways, wait here, kitty. I'm going to grab some drinks for us before we go and get those ice creams.

Velvet nods and Venus leaves for a moment. Gadget leans and talks softly to Velvet.

Gadget: It's amazing you can date her.
Velvet: What makes you think that?
Gadget: Well… you're quiet and she's… wild.
Velvet: Haha! I could say the same to you. You're such a good guy while Zero is… such a potty mouth.
Zero: I heard that, cat.
Velvet: Yes, big ears. Sorry about that.
Gadget: Hahaha!
