started with just wanting to draw Zeena without makeup + without her hair and nails done (I'm imagining she paints on the pink stripes on her horn too). then I wanted to draw Rouge in casual wear … decided to unite both ideas under the theme of "neither of these characters are morning people." Rouge is a bat, and to me Zeena's "laziness" just makes her seem tired and miserable </3
