The day is here. The infamous one. The project I've dreaded for months, now. The challenge I've pondered as to whether or not it was possible. The challenge I've joked about so many who've tried and failed. So many fallen warriors, so many noble sacrifices. I would not let them be in vain. I faced the dragon head-on…


And you know what? Figuring our how to draw Rouge's body in a SFW way without a stupid-looking fur pattern wasn't NEARLY as much of a challenge as trying to design clothes for Shadow based on Rouge's costume. It's like: There's just no male equivalent for that getup. MAN, I must have tried a zillion ideas before landing on the combat vest idea.



But yeah, for Rouge, it just finally hit me last night. Lots of people have suggested that the orange is just fur and not skin. So what if I simply reverse the colors and gave her a classic white belly patch? SO SIMPLE!

Nevertheless, if that's not to your liking, I tried out just about every other previously used idea as well in the other slides, which can be seen in the link.
