Jules Hedgehog was once a normal Mobian and a member of the Acorn Knights, a group of guards of the royal Acorn family. During his time as a Acorn Knight, he became close friends with Amadeus Prower. Amadeus even introduced Jules to his eventual wife, Bernadette. Eventually Bernadette became pregnant, but during her pregnancy, Jules got heavily injured, so much so he needed a full body Roboticization to stay alive. Now a cyborg he had to officially retire as a Acorn Knight, as to much damage to his metal body, could end his life. But even though he is retired, he still took a job offer from his friend Amadeus, to look after his children, Miles and Zooey. Because Amadeus is to busy as an Acorn Knight, and their mother isn't around, it was up to Jules and Bernadette to look after the young foxes, even seeing them as their own children.
