Lady Elaine is the cousin of Queen Guinevere, this gave her the opportunity to leave the kingdom more often then her cousin. But during one of these travels, she got kidnapped by some bandits, but just as she was taken away, she was rescued by The Black Knight, also known as Sir Lancelot. As Lancelot brought her back to the kingdom, they grew a close friendship, that grew into a romance. Eventually the 2 got married and got a son together, Galahad. And while Elaine was scared of their safety, especially after Galahad became the squire of his father. She knew deep down, that they would be fine.
