As soon as they got there, they told the story to Dulcy who allowed them to use it. As it turns out, The Special Lake Ring has the unique power the create mirror versions of those who stare in it. Dulcy always pulled back when she saw a male version of herself in the water. But the rest did not turn back, and helped their mirror selves out the water. Shadow's mirror self is Shade, unlike the echidna of the same name, this Shade doesn't care much, she rather just sit back, relax and maybe take a ride on her motorcycle, than do anything with others (well except maybe the Chao).
