Orbot was 1 of the first modern robots of Robotnik Inc. He was specifically built to be Ivo's assistant. But Orbot appeared to have a sarcastic side, annoying Ivo quite a bit. So Ivo decided to built a secondary robot like Orbot, but with a simpler thought processor, just to give Orbot someone else to be sarcastic towards. But despite all of it, he still helps Ivo due to his programming, he has trouble understanding the Eggman side of Ivo though.
