Since the beginning, Mobius was powered by the Master Emerald and within the Master Emerald resides Chaos, the god of chaos. Despite his title and power, Chaos is a very peaceful god, only creating chaos when necessary. When varies mobians built a altar for both the Master Emerald and Chaos, Chaos himself gifted the Mobians with his creations the Ancient Chao, kind and helpful creatures made of the same water as Chaos himself. But everything changed when Chief Pachacamac attacked Chaos and his Master Emerald, this enraged Chaos as he woke up in his true draconic form, with a single attack Chaos banished the attacking Echidna's to another dimension within the Master Emerald. This also caused the Ancient Chaos to split into 2 beings, 1 went with the banished Echidna's, while the other stayed behind on the now shattered planet Mobius. But after Chaos calmed down and regret his actions, he did 2 things to help Mobius heal, 1 grand Tikal's final wish and 2 was using all his power to turn all (except for 1) of the shards of Mobius, into small planetoids, he needed to rest afterward though, for at least 4000 years.
