Long ago, back when Mobius was still a singular planet, the Echidna tribe where the most important for the world, as they where charged with guarding the Master Emerld, the key to there living. Among the Echidna Tribe was the young Tikal, daughter of Chief Pachacamac. When the Master Emerald gifted the keepers of the Chaos Emeralds the first Power Patterns, Tikal was given a special golden Power Pattern, given her the ability to communicate with the gods of Mobius. However 1 day Pachacamac was displeased with the gods and gathered a group of Echidna's to attack the Master Emerald and the god Chaos within. Tikal plead to not do this, as Chaos itself told her that it will doom there life, her father however did not listen. The attack on the Master Emerald continued, awakening Chaos who in turned destroyed the planet Mobius, locking the attacking Echidna's in another dimension and fulfilled Tikal's final wish. And that is to make the Power Patterns part of Mobian biology, to make sure the connection with the Emeralds will never be lost for future generations.
