Ray doesn't remember much of when he was little, only that he was rescued by a green arm from a huge fire. He eventually learned that the one who rescued him was his now adoptive father, Moss the Soth. Thanks to Moss, Ray has a very carefree personality. He accepted his new brother and sister pretty much right away when Moss saved them as well. However he isn't to fond of his own body, simply because when he learned that he is a Flying Squirrel, he thought he could actually fly, instead he can only glide, he wishes he could have a Yellow Power Pattern but alas, and he never really let go of this mindset.
