Ivo Robotnik was born on the harshest planet within Mobius, Chemical Plant. A planet that was filled with nothing but a toxic ooze beneath its rocky crust. But Ivo Robotnik was born with the Gray Power Pattern, making him a genius. With his genius he found a way to seperate the toxic ooze into safe drinkable water & a rubber like material, with this discovery he became the most important person on Chemical Plant. Over the years his first assistant became his lover and eventual wife. He inherited the man-made artificial planet, Space Colony ARK from his grandfather after he passed away, and turned it into his own robotics company, Robotnik Inc.. His company not only sells robotics, but also a unique healing method called Roboticization, where demaged organic parts are replaced by robotic parts without any surgery. However while Mr. Ivo Robotnik was a very kind and caring person, not everyone agreed with his methods. The one who was the most against him was the young Sonic the Hedgehog, and to make Sonic feel somewhat better Ivo Robotnik gave himself a "evil" persona called Dr. Eggman.
