@Mobian #817F Hm, the whole we're-rooting-for-you-Sonic recovery boost he got felt forced. And there could've been more use of the environment, like lava surfing on Chaos Island (a youtuber I can't remember the name of mentioned this in a review).
The ending with Sage got changed from the original, which takes out the emotional stakes of the game, as well. (The original ending also did this with the final after-credits scene. Game would've meant so much more to me if they'd let her die, but that might just be a personal preference.) If I got extra nit-picky, they could've brought back the power-up monitors in 3D form for this game, especially with the whole digital cyber theme going on. But I can see why they didn't.
For what it is though, I think they did a pretty decent job, and I'm looking forward to see more on the open-world front (no pun intended).
