There's just one thing I find really odd about this site, though… Why is there literally 20 times more Blazamy than Sonamy?

Given the usual nature of how any user can upload art on a booru and how simple it is to do so, all it really takes is one very passionate shipper to make Blazamy take up a notable amount of pictures on the site. Still, it's quite interesting to see how Blazamy exploded in popularity a while back, it seems like a lot of fans have been growing more tired of Sonamy.

I see the tag Amy X Blaze has over 2,300 posts, while Sonic X Shadow only has around 1,600 posts. The fact is that Sonic and Shadow interact with each other in most of the games over the past few years, while Amy and Blaze rarely do. Can someone please explain this to me?
