Just like Tails, Knuckles unlocks his super form via the Chaos Emeralds as well, although he unlocked it much earlier than Tails did. Super Knuckles' speed increases a tad bit, but his strength is what gets enhanced the most. One could say he is as powerful as the Master Emerald itself.
