This wasn't Sonic…not the Sonic he knew. His rich blue fur darkened, contrasting the crimson stains on his quills. His whites held only black, two glowing red eyes surrounded by darkness, dripping blood down his muzzle. His mouth was set in an unnaturally wide grin, filled with yellow, long, sharp teeth stained red. His gloves were stained red all over, appearing to be still wet. This is the creature who so cruelly killed those animals. When he spoke, it wasn't Sonic's voice, but that of a warped, twisted, distorted demon. "Hello. Do you want to play with me?" That voice was enough to make the fox's world go black.

When he came to, the first thing he noticed was the smell of fire. Tails opened his eyes with a start. This wasn't the same area he had been in. All the animals were gone. So was Sonic. "That wasn't Sonic…that was like the glitched, virus-corrupted file on a computer! An Exe almost…It looked like Sonic…" he tried reasoning with himself. Finally he decided to call the creature Sonic.Exe. It seemed fitting for something so evil…so monstrous…Wait…where did he go? He looked around frantically. "I better run…I have to tell the others!" He started running in the direction he had came from. He didn't get far. The Exe appeared, hovering before him. Terror gripped his heart in a vice-like grip, threatening to crush it. He spun around, spinning his tails as fast as he could, flying in the opposite direction.
