Here's a pic that started as a simple tribute to Issue 37's cover, but then it started to evolve into something bigger and more complex.

I wanted to draw Sally with long hair while drawing the final boss of Sonic 3D Blast in the background, then for consistency I drew a de-roboticized Uncle Chuck and Sonic with his modern design.

Now I feel it's almost un-recognizable from what I started working on, but still cool looking.

Plus, I still want to use my coloring software to color more like the comics and nail the visual style more.
