The idea is that they were taking a picture on the beach for commemorative reasons, and Blaze was standing slightly out-of-frame, all cool with her back turned and everything (like here)
So Sonic had to grab her and reel her in…
but then meanwhile Marine just had to go and hog all the space again and it is getting on Tails's nerves

By the way: Sonic and Blaze are not suddenly 6 feet tall; they are, in fact, standing on crates conveniently placed below the view of the camera.
Why are they doing this? Because Tails and Marine have such huge heads that you have to be at least a foot or two taller than them if you want your face to not be eclipsed by grossly distended cartoon critter cranium. The lighting is kinda strange, especially on Tails… I'll do better next time.
If you see problems other than that, they weren't intentional, so you should notify me POST-HASTE.

Sonic Rush Adventure is a really fun game… I have actual Sonic Rush too, but I haven't beaten it yet (yes, yes, I know, the mark of a weakling, did you even PLAY on the mega system drive master cast, proceed with caution guys we got ourselves a class-A ultra pleb).
