Didn't have time to finish this until just tonight. Boo. I wanted to have more done by now, but oh well.

Besides the robot characters, I try to make my humanized versions a bit more natural looking, instead of having really crazy anime hair and fantasy outfits. My goal was to make human versions that would invoke the same kind of feelings and reactions from the other characters and audience as their mobian counterparts do. Basically, as if I had to retell all of the Archie Sonic history, but with humans instead of mobians. I'm avoiding the typical gijinka look of KPOP boy with blue emo hair. Personally, that's just not my bag, and I've seen it done too many times to do it myself. Cool beans if that's what you like, it's just not for me.

In contrast to Julie-Su, Knuckles is very simple and one with nature. Being raised mostly alone on Angel Island, he's not very fashionable, and doesn't wear anything that isn't functional, besides his guardian mantle. Since becoming more involved with outside society, he has taken a liking to some modern clothing, particularly sneakers. (Actually tho', am I the only one who thinks it's silly in the games how a guy with no contact with the outside world is wearing sneaks? ;P) He typically stays shirtless at all times unless plopped in the middle of the tundra. It would be a real Jacob-style turn on to the ladies if he wasn't constantly so grungy and caked with sweat from fighting people. :/

I made both he and Julie-Su more Central American-influenced, because of the ancient Mayan theme in the games (and sort of in the comics). He's got a darker complexion from being out in the elements all day every day, whereas Julie is surrounded by computer rooms and artificial lighting a lot of the time. Kept the dreadlocks despite their origins in him being Jamaican for no reason, because Knuckles. He's wrapped up his hands like he's ready to punch someone (he's always ready to punch someone). I almost gave him some kind of brass knuckles, but thought that was too hokey. This suits him better, imo.

Still feeling bad I didn't work the lego feet somewhere in here. Maybe I'll put it on the mantle in a future draft.
