Part of why I love these two so much is knowing that they could understand the pain of each other's past. They both had such rough events happen to them that demolished— literally in Shard's case…why yes that is a joke regarding the fact that he died— their hopes for being seen as more than just machines. They were both experiencing this loss and both were experiencing the intense emotions of being alone, unwanted, and afraid. And yet, in possibly the roughest time for them both, they stumbled into each other. :heart:
