Shardcole and sketching are my favorite things, therefore, Shardcole sketch dumping is my ultimate favorite thing :heart:

YAY HEADCANONS

1-Smoochies after a date-a-roo. They really like hanging out at night and that's when they spend most of their time together after work hours just hanging out. Both before and after Shard is introduced to everyone they like to sit outside the city and just talk about their day. Which implies that they didn't do that already but don't be fooled.

Sally goes through some Nicole withdrawl and eventually just has to forcibly start third wheeling and thaTS FUN

2- These two. These two. I know I've said it before but someone stop them they take so many selfies. They are absolutely that one couple that just floods social media with couple pictures when they're on dates and stuff. No one ever has to question where the two are at if they aren't in a direct line of sight. Instagram will reveal the answer that they're probably out for robot milkshakes or playing chess or tag teaming on a scouting mission or something. nicole only usually goes on scouting missions if she can help it because she doesn't like fighting anyway and also shard is so overly protective he doesn't let her do anything too dangerous until she is forced to flip him over her shoulder or something to prove a point

3- Shard and Nicole have a very literal 'love language', that being binary code. They can both actually convert the numbers into a high frequency way of speaking that is incoherent to everyone else. They usually text each other in binary, too. Nicole gets her first case of the butterflies the first time Shard starts mumbling distractedly in binary and just freaks out because "omg he speaKS MY LANGUAGE". One more thing that they have in common and she loves it and absolutely melts when he sweet talks in binary from that point on. He totally takes advantage of this

4-Shard is kind of reckless like all the time and takes pride in his battle scars butttttt Nicole obviously doesn't share that sentiment. After the Metal Sonic scare she gets a little overprotective and gets really worried when he's hurt. But then of course he's so flippant she kind of numbs to the concern and stops fixing him and just slaps some duct tape over the wound to kick his auto repair in the butt. She also gets into a habit of not talking to him while she's doing this, which makes Shard squirm because he can't stand not talking to her and having her ignore his attempts at apologizing for worrying her. He eventually has to just slouch on her and whine until she gives in
