The distinct smack of lips parting was heard as Sally took a small step back from Sonic, her hands still grasping his sides.
The princess's face was flush as she looked into the hedgehog's green eyes; she tightened her grip, letting her dull claws sink slightly into her mate's pelt.
"Ohgh, why are you like this?" she asked, her grumbling breath almost quick enough to be considered panting.
Sonic grinned, raising a knowing eyebrow. "Like what?"
"So… aggravatingly irresistible?"
Sonic smirked and touched her cheek. "Just lucky I guess."
And he drew her close again, their lips locking in another ardent kiss.
