it´s the middle of the night rn (in my country) so I´ll write down something once it´s morning again :sleepy::sleep:





edit: It´s a new day and I have alot of time on my hands so I can finally infodump my ideas for these redesign onto here ✨



For Chaos himself (or themselves, idk he gives me that vibe), like I mentioned in the art is heavily inspired by Skyline Sonic´s rendition (with the jewellery and the funky swirls) and Cyberlord1109 version of "Chaos 1",

with the more hunched-over build and shark-head (allthough the shark-head was an idea I came up with way before seeing their design).

Just like his canon design, his appearance morphs to be more and more animalistic the more Chaos Emeralds he gets- so this is him at his (technically) most "human"… very alien indeed 🌊



As for Tikal (my sweet angel), I basically worked off of what I already had established for Knux and only changed and adapted it to fit her, with the green cloak pattern, strong claw-arms, bandages and looong snout-

since Knuckles is supposed to be wearing his tribal attire, only with a "cowboy-twist" 🤠

Fun Fact!: her eyes are just the inverted version of Knux´s eyes :tutorialeye:



Also I forgot to add the white quills that real echidnas have for her, but that was just an oversight, not lore-relevant 🤷‍♀️
