A screencap of my Team Rose segment in the Metropolis Mayhem animation. I had this pic laying around on my desktop for a while now. Figured I upload it now. I always liked this shot. Something about it that just makes me smile. It's probably Amy on the turtle (The badnik's name is Cameron; to be more specific).
It was nice to do an animation after a long while. An overall improvement compared to my earlier crap. I'm happy the characters look well without any shading. I tried to focus more on the line-art than the coloring. The most effort that went into this was probably smoothing out the line-art as much as possible to give it that clean look.
All the characters I drew were done in Adobe Flash while all the backgrounds were done in Photoshop and Paint Tool Sai. I played and used Sonic Heroes as a visual guide so I could make sure that I could give the backgrounds that authentic feel.
I plan to do more animations in the future, I'm going to try my best to top the animation in this one as well.
