original description

just a little thing I whipped up where I kinda design my own "off model" versions of the main Sonic gang (:



most of it is in the color choices, since a lot of them have darker tones than usual



for Sonic, I added the common headcanon where he's a post-op trans man, so I added the surgery scars. I also semi redesigned his shoes to be more akin to actual running shoes, since his normal ones look super uncomfortable(and they still have the belt buckle on the outside, it's just not shown here), and of course I had to keep the light speed dash imbedded in them lmao



Tails pretty much stays the same, but I also semi redesigned his shoes to be more like child-like sneakers! he's also thirteen instead of eight years old cause I said so



Knuckles is noticeably taller with a more top-heavy appearance much like his Sonic Boom counterpart, but not so much to that extreme. I also much prefer drawing his shoes similar to his movie version since they're more like combat boots and I just think that's neat (:



Amy I tend to enjoy drawing a little chunkier cause I think it looks cuter, and her quills are meant to be a little wavier so she has sort of like a frizzier look



Shadow I leaned a little closer to his alien blood and made him just a tad more demonic looking. plus I color his chest fur golden like the old Archie design purely just cause I think it looks neat(also I HATE drawing his rocket shoes so much why are they LIKE THAT)
