Last night I posted a pic of a gender bent Sonic, or "Velocity the Hedgehog." Trying to challenge myself to change names where I can. For Tails I kept the nickname but I changed the legal name. So instead of Miles Prower she's Kelly Mettre-Prower. Lol. I guess in my headcannon she has one parent with the surname of "Mettre". And if you havent figured out, the pun is "kilometers per hour."

On top of that her name is ALSO a reference. The "Mettre" is a nod to the theoretical physicist, Georges Lemaître. In fact I considered "Kelly Lemaître-Prower" but "Kelly Mettre-prower" worked better.
