During Sonic Heroes Shadow had resurfaced after disappearing at the finale of Sonic Adventure 2, however Shadow is suffering from amnesia and is unsure of his past…
Then as the skies began to darken an evil alien force attacks the planet, The Black Arms, their leader: Black Doom.
Black Doom apparently knows Shadow…
"Find the Seven Chaos Emeralds and bring them to me… AS PROMISED…!"
Who is Black Doom? Who or what is Shadow exactly…? And… Who IS Maria…?
Shadow races against time to find the Emeralds, will he assist Sonic and the world to fight back the aliens…? Or is Shadow truly a weapon to bring doom to mankind…?
