This is an expansion of a scene from Sonic #138 where we see a lot of characters eating out at Uncle's Chuck's diner. LazyRayFinkle wanted several couples to share a night out at the diner, including a very obscure echidna-dingo couple that only appeared in Knuckles #26. :o This is an interesting choice to say the least. The idea of two individuals of rival species forming a romance has oodles of story potential behind it, but this is something that was never elaborated upon in the comics. Just one throwaway panel of this controversial pairing is all we ever got. :hmm: Anyway, this was a fun challenge trying to cram in as many characters as possible into this one scene. I even added a few extra ones to fill the composition. I enjoy playing around with character interactions in group pics like this, and the effort was well worth it. It may be a while before I draw something this complex again. ;
