She was at her nightly patrol, ever since his disappearance.
Things aren't the same without Sonic. I'm very worried. Tails should be happy he got his parents back. If only there was a chance Sonic was back home she thought to herself
A yellow glow soon appeared, it was small in the sky. It went closer to her location. She covered her eyes, as a bit of the glow was gone, she uncovered them seeing a yellow hedgehog with ruby red eyes.
"Hey Sal."
"S-Sonic?"
The Acorn princess hugged the young hero.
"Where have you been? It's been two months since we last saw you!" Sally asked.
"It's a space mission. Took my that long to defeat it. How's everyone else?" Super Sonic asked.
"They all thought you were gone. Even your parents and uncle."
Sonic rubbed the back of his neck "Yeeah… sorry 'bout that, Sal. I'm home now, right?"
"Right. I missed you."
"I missed you too"
They hugged one more time as Sonic was the first one to stop.
"Sonic?"
"I was wondering if you wanna see the moon while I'm flying?"
"I… I don't know."
"C'mon, Sal. Let's give it a try. I promise I won't let you go."
"Alright… but we have to head back home soon."
The golden hedgehog carried his chipmunk lover bridely and flew above the clouds, seeing the moon.
"There. Beautiful, right?" he asked.
"I've… never seen it up this close. It is beautiful."
"Not as beautiful as you are. I love you, Sal."
"I love you too, Sonic"
